Night Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Shift Differential Available) Hours per Week:

Pay Highlights:
$16 - 20.60/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities: Receive, sort, and process incoming laboratory specimens. Perform centrifugation and aliquoting of specimens into sample cups. Conduct routine instrument maintenance as directed. Prepare reagents, slides, and media for testing procedures. Build worklists, check specimens for clots or fibrin, and ensure sample integrity. Maintain and record temperature charts and departmental logs. Manage specimen storage and retrieval. Perform QA/QC duties and assist with resolving pending test lists. Locate and process missing samples as needed. Decontaminate work areas and perform weekly radioactive wipe tests. Handle biohazardous materials and follow all PPE and safety protocols. Change gas cylinders and manage laboratory waste disposal. Maintain accurate department records and filing systems. Operate laboratory computer systems and PCs effectively. Complete all required training and competency checklists in a timely manner.
Qualifications: Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience:
No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
