Please do not apply if you are not open to contract work. The Role We’re looking for a Contract Recruiter to join our growing team during an exciting scaling phase. You’ll play a critical role in building out our hiring pipeline, partnering closely with hiring managers, and ensuring an excellent candidate experience from first touchpoint to offer. This is an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, balancing both strategic recruiting and hands‑on coordination while helping shape our growth. Location This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City HQ. Candidates must reside in New York or be able to commute to New York City to work out of our office at least three times a week (Tuesdays - Thursdays). What You’ll Do Own top of funnel sourcing for key roles across the company Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, define roles, and shape hiring strategies. Assist with pipeline tracking, reporting, and hiring metrics. Coordinate interview logistics - including scheduling, candidate communication, and internal alignment - ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and interviewers. Conduct weekly recruiter calls to share pipeline updates and insights. Identify creative, “outside the box” approaches to attract top talent - from automation tools to unique sourcing strategies. Build and nurture relationships with candidates, ensuring every interaction reflects our values of kindness, empathy, and transparency. Collaborate cross‑functionally with team members and leadership to improve the recruiting and hiring experience. What You’ll Bring 3+ years recruiting experience, ideally in a fast‑growing startup or tech company. Extremely comfortable utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and Asbhy. Comfortable managing both recruiting and coordination tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal. A creative problem‑solver who loves building scalable recruiting systems and automating where possible. Someone who leads with empathy, values inclusion, and champions a positive candidate experience.
