About Strike
Strike Capital is a San Francisco–based venture capital firm that has deployed $500M+ across early-stage, growth, and incubation strategies. We back transformative AI-native and B2B software companies from pre‑seed through IPO, including Stord, Databricks, Figma, and Toast. We operate like the startups we invest in: fast, hands‑on, and ambitious, with a culture that values agility, creativity, and precision.
Role Overview
We are hiring an Executive Assistant to support the partners and team across operations, scheduling, events, and communications. This is an in‑person role based in San Francisco with a flexible in‑person schedule — some days may require 6+ hours, others just 1–2. You’ll be the anchor of our office environment, helping keep Strike running smoothly day to day while also contributing to high‑impact initiatives like founder dinners, investor events, and marketing communications.
Responsibilities
Scheduling & Coordination: Manage partner calendars, schedule meetings across multiple time zones, and organize logistics for calls, board meetings, and investor discussions.
Office & Operations: Oversee day‑to‑day office management, ensuring a professional, well‑functioning environment for the team.
Events & Dinners: Plan and coordinate founder dinners, LP meetings, and both local and international events. Handle all logistics end‑to‑end (venues, invitations, agendas, travel).
Travel & Logistics: Assist with travel planning for partners and team, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
Marketing & Communications: Support partners on marketing initiatives, including drafting communication, coordinating with designers, and helping maintain Strike’s external brand presence.
Special Projects: Step in on ad hoc projects that require organization, discretion, and creative problem‑solving.
Requirements
2+ years of experience as an EA, office manager, or in a high‑velocity operations role (startup or investment firm experience a plus).
Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with excellent time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable interacting with senior executives, founders, and investors.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and scheduling tools. Bonus if you’ve managed events or coordinated marketing/communications projects.
Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential information with care.
Flexible, proactive, and comfortable in an environment where no two days look the same.
Compensation
Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) plus benefits. In‑person role, based in San Francisco, with flexibility in daily hours depending on workload.
