The Vice President of Information Technology leads PBV’s technology strategy and operations, driving digital transformation, cybersecurity, and infrastructure standardization in alignment with Suntory’s global standards. This role oversees information and operational technology systems, vendor management, and compliance while fostering innovation through automation and enterprise platform integration. The VP develops high‑performing teams, ensures cost optimization, and partners across functions to enable secure, efficient, and future‑ready technology solutions. Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

Oversee PBV’s IT architecture, strategic planning, and capital investments. Drive innovation through digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI, and cloud adoption. Collaborate with executive leadership and business transformation team on goals and supporting roadmap. Align PBV’s technology strategy with the expectations of PBV’s majority owner, Suntory regarding cybersecurity & infrastructure standardization. IT Operational Oversight

Performance management of IT operations and staff. Budget ownership for IT, including forecasting and cost optimization. Oversight of IT acquisitions, vendor relationships, and contract compliance. Periodic refinement of JSOX audit procedures and ensuring compliance with self‑audits. Operational Technology (OT) Oversight

Lead efforts to replace outdated OT infrastructure, prioritizing upgrades based on operational and security risk. Ensure OT systems are regularly patched and updated, with lifecycle responsibilities clearly defined across IT, manufacturing, and engineering. Enforce OT vendor compliance with Suntory’s OT security guidelines, including access restrictions and role‑based governance. Drive continuous improvement and maturity in OT processes, aiming to exceed PBV, Suntory, and cyber insurance expectations for uptime, quality, and security. Vendor Negotiations & Cost Optimization

Responsible For Negotiating Vendor Contracts To Maximize Value

Lead RFQs and benchmarking exercises to ensure competitive pricing and scope validation during vendor evaluation. Manage contract renewals with a focus on cost reduction and scope optimization. Engage Suntory’s and PepsiCo’s global procurement teams to leverage shared contracts. Security & Compliance

Data privacy leadership, especially around PII in both structured and unstructured formats. Policy enforcement for data retention and access control. IT cybersecurity governance, including risk mitigation and regulatory alignment. Implement Suntory’s OT security standards across PBV’s manufacturing sites, ensuring vendor and staff compliance. Oversee protocols for reporting and responding to cyber incidents. Team Development & Collaboration

Lead And Develop High‑performing IT Teams

Professional development and training for IT staff. Cross‑functional collaboration with other departments like finance, people & culture, sales, and manufacturing. Stakeholder engagement to ensure IT initiatives meet enterprise needs. Technology Enablement & Innovation

Spearhead Technology Initiatives That Enhance PBV’s Operational Efficiency

Automation of business processes using solutions like Microsoft Power Platform. Integration of enterprise platforms like Workday, SAP, and Salesforce. Creation of custom digital tools. Support implementation of business applications and related change management. External Benchmarking & Industry Alignment

Ensure regulatory compliance and cybersecurity readiness. Stay ahead of emerging technologies like AI, cloud, and data analytics. Connect with IT leaders from Pepsi bottlers and Suntory global IT to share tools, processes, and strategies of mutual interest. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related required. Master’s degree in business, IT, or related preferred. 15+ years of progressively responsible experience managing and supporting information technology. Prior IT leadership roles in the consumer products sector are desirable. Proven success in building and guiding diverse teams focused on technology and business transformation. Advanced skills in analyzing and designing business processes. Established history of aligning an organization’s IT requirements with overall strategic objectives. Hands‑on experience implementing and supporting key business software such as ERP, HRIS, or industry‑specific applications. Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of artificial intelligence and automation solutions. Sound judgment and decision‑making. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication. Adaptable in fast‑paced settings. Customer service focus. Portfolio/program/project management experience. Effective planning and organization. Experienced in performance, budget, and financial reporting. Commitment to continuous improvement. Compensation And Benefits

Starting salary for this position is set based on location, confirmed job‑related skills, experience, and education.
