Job Summary The Manager of Business Analytics serves as a strategic leader within FC Cincinnati's Business Intelligence Department, responsible for overseeing analytical initiatives, managing a team of analysts, and delivering actionable insights that drive revenue growth, enhance fan experience, and support organizational decision-making. This role bridges data analytics with business strategy, translating complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership while developing the capabilities of the analytics team. The Manager will lead cross‑functional analytics projects, establish reporting standards, and foster a data‑driven culture across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Lead and mentor a team of business analysts and CRM specialists, providing guidance, professional development, and performance management

Develop and execute the department's analytics strategy in alignment with organizational objectives and MLS/league initiatives

Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive dashboards, automated reporting systems, and KPIs across all business units

Manage analytics projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and measurable business impact

Establish data governance standards, best practices, and quality assurance protocols across the organization

Lead complex analytical initiatives including predictive modeling, pricing optimization, fan segmentation, and revenue forecasting

Collaborate with IT and external vendors to enhance data infrastructure, tools, and integration capabilities

Foster collaboration between BS&A and other departments to drive adoption of data‑driven decision making

What You’ll Need

Bachelor's degree with emphasis in economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related analytical field; Master's degree a plus

3‑5 years of experience in business analytics

Advanced proficiency with SQL and statistical programming languages (R or Python)

Expert knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)

Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and ticketing systems

Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

What You’ll Bring

Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non‑technical audiences

Experience in sports, entertainment, or consumer‑facing industries strongly preferred

Strategic thinking with ability to translate business challenges into analytical solutions

Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration abilities

Deep understanding of statistical modeling, forecasting, and advanced analytics techniques

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management

Knowledge of privacy regulations and data security best practices

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
