ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES
Immediate opening for a SIGINT System Architect.
The selected candidate will define architectures for new RF systems and lead their development and delivery.
Defines system architectures within international and domestic SIGINT marketplace, with emphasis on Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Direction Finding (DF) Systems.
Leads selection of RF components within defined architectures.
Authors or leads development of: concept of operations (CONOPs), system architectures, system requirements, system development plans, system integration and test plans, system validation plans.
Leads 3–5 year long cradle-to-grave Systems Engineering efforts.
Decomposes detailed system‑level requirements based on non‑technical mission objectives.
Supports decomposition of architectures and objectives into specific engineering domains.
Conducts trade studies into technologies supporting SIGINT solutions.
Establishes frequent Intelligence Community and DoD customer contacts.
Collaborates with customers to develop system CONOPS, architectures, and requirements.
Develops and presents briefing packages of GDMS SIGINT capabilities.
Works closely with business area technical and management team to align strategy.
Authors white‑papers detailing technical specifics for export licenses.
What you bring to the table
Extensive experience with RF signal processing system design.
Analyzing and characterizing SATCOM signals.
Collection and analysis of communication signals in L, C, and K spectrums.
Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams.
Understanding of SIGINT, COMINT/DF, and EW marketplace.
Works effectively in cross‑functional teams and with diverse customer base.
Develop testing criteria and execute validation of designs.
Experience in fast‑paced development environments focused on fielding complex signal processing solutions.
Demonstrated problem‑solving, communication, presentation and organizational skills.
Proven technical leadership skills and creative problem‑solving.
Strong ability to manage tasks and projects independently with urgency.
Excellent written and oral communication, travel up to 20% worldwide.
REQUIREMENTS
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with 8+ years’ experience or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 10+ years’ experience.
Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the systems development life cycle.
Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and influence management skills.
Experienced in negotiation and meeting challenging customer requirements.
