Overview

Top Texas Law Firm is seeking an experienced Janitor to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of stable experience as a Janitor in a professional office setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with cleaners
• Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets
• Strip, seal, finish and polish floors
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures
• Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after hours and checking electrical equipment usage
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or with hand trucks
• Notify managers concerning the need for major or minor repairs
• Requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance
• Set up, arrange and remove tables and chairs to prepare facilities for meetings

Requirements

• Must successfully pass a background check
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years experience preferred
