Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication, and assembly processes. Lead and support improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, and cost. Continuously assess new technologies and processes to enhance operational performance. Support and manage new product development and launch initiatives. Ensure safe execution of all operations, contributing to a zero-accident environment. Meet or exceed targets for quality, productivity, uptime, on-time delivery, and cost. Provide input and critique on machine control systems for fabrication, welding, assembly, and paint operations. Support budget development and participate in benchmarking activities to promote world-class manufacturing. Design, build, install, and troubleshoot industrial control and PLC systems. Work with single and three-phase power distribution systems. Ensure compliance with the Electric Code and OSHA regulations for new and existing equipment. Program and support robotic control systems including Fanuc, Motoman, ABB, and Kuka. Program and troubleshoot PLCs including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi platforms. Knowledge & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology, or equivalent work experience. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Technical experience in manufacturing environments required. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding, powder coating, and stamping. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ProE and AutoCAD.
