Automotive Technician – Land Rover Lynnwood

What will you do? The technician conducts routine service on vehicles, diagnoses and completes repairs on customer vehicles, and works closely with the Parts Department and Service Advisor. Responsibilities include:
Knowledge of automotive systems and ability to explain systems and repairs to others.
Willingness and ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge.
Ability to estimate time of service or repair job for scheduling.
Knowledge of parts requirements and communication via repair orders.
Knowledge of approved procedures for service and repairs.
Compliance with quality control and inspection requirements of the Service Department.
What are we looking for?
High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
Automotive technical experience and/or technical school program experience required.
Current valid driver’s license.
Good reading, writing, and math skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Appropriate technical certifications.
Ability to stay current by attending training schools and reading shop manuals, technical bulletins, etc.
Strongly preferred
Jaguar Land Rover experience and certification.
ASE certifications or equivalent manufacturer training or other high‑line import experience.
Degree/training from an automotive technical school.
Compensation Apprentice Technicians – Starting at $24/hour based on experience and qualifications. Main Shop Technicians – Starting at $28/hour flat rate based on experience and qualifications.
