Physician Assistant – Pediatric Cardiac Surgery (OR)
Work Schedule:
100% FTE, Monday – Friday, four 10‑hour days between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, six weekends per year, 1:5 on‑call night and weekend rotation.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you’ll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high‑quality, cost‑effective care to patients.
Responsibilities
Work with an interdisciplinary team to provide peri‑operative care for pediatric and adult congenital patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
Perform procedures as cardiac surgery first assist.
Participate in daily rounding and collaborate with attending or consulting team to adjust plans of care.
Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications
Minimum – State of Wisconsin PA licensure.
Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice.
Active PA board certification.
Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from an accredited PA Program required.
Active PA license with prescriptive authority, active PA board certification, and active DEA license (or ability to obtain) upon hire.
Experience in peri‑operative or surgical settings preferred.
