Martin Group has partnered with an established El Segundo law firm to find a skilled Litigation Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong litigation experience, particularly in employment law and personal injury, to provide direct support to two partners in a dynamic environment. The position requires the candidate to work onsite for the first 90 days, with the potential for a hybrid schedule thereafter.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to partners.

Draft, edit, and prepare legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.

Coordinate case management using Filevine (experience preferred).

Manage court filings, including federal court filings.

Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and witness coordination.

Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and schedules.

Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel as needed.

Support day-to-day office and case management operations.

Qualifications

4-5 years of experience as a legal assistant in litigation (employment and/or PI preferred; plaintiff experience strongly desired).

Strong trial preparation experience (must-have).

Knowledge of federal and state court filing procedures.

Proficiency with case management systems (Filevine preferred).

Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Detail‑oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Work Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Benefits The position offers a competitive salary of $105,000 (DOE), along with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Additional Details The role requires a full-time commitment with an immediate start available. The work schedule will be onsite for the first 90 days, transitioning to a hybrid schedule with in-office days on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and remote work on Tuesday and Thursday.
