We are seeking an Aerospace Orbital Tube welder to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new Tube Duct and Sheet Metal. Responsibilities
Create and follow procedures to setup and operate the orbital welding system Work from blueprints and approved drawings Work alongside engineering to provide insight to process improvements Cut and prepare tubing and fittings used in the welding operation Perform setup and maintenance of the welding system Assist in training other teammates in orbital tube welding Inspect all completed assemblies using borescope and other inspection tools Maintain an adequate supply of spare parts for the welding system Maintain a clean work area, practicing "clean as you go" and general housekeeping standards Assist in facility needs Welding of Tube Duct products and other sheet metal Install and weld various components Weld process as per AWS D17.1 Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance Qualifications
1+ year of welding, machining or manufacturing experience OR certificate from an accredited trade skills program in A&P, manufacturing, welding, and/or electronics Previous experience in Aerospace TIG welding Proficiency with welding tools and procedures Familiarity with engineering blueprints Ability to handle physical workload Able to Certify to AWS D17.1 Experience with Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Titanium and Inconel Competitive pay dependent upon experience.
