Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead electronic design and analysis for a new program, working with a multi-disciplined engineering team to develop, test, and integrate electronic subsystems and components. You will design hardware, software, and firmware, create test plans, and mentor other engineers.
Education & Job Requirements
Must have a Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience developing subsystem requirements.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience designing, developing, and integrating complex electronic systems or subsystems.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with analog and / or digital circuit design, packaging techniques, and / or power systems.
Must be able to work 100% onsite in Albuquerque, NM.
Preferred Skills
You will have experience with high-speed, low-latency electronic design.
You will have experience with firmware development.
Job Duties / Functions
You will develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements.
You will design hardware, software, firmware, and interface specifications.
You will develop test plans to validate system designs against operational and functional requirements.
You will solve problems with fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle.
You will research technology advances and assess potential applications.
You will work with suppliers for board / electronics hardware prototyping and manufacturing.
You will mentor entry-level and mid-career engineers in electronic design best practices.
