The Fabrication Plant Manager is a key leader in overseeing the company\'s structural steel fabrication operations in Cocoa, FL. Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations of the Fabrication Shop, ensuring efficiency and productivity Manage and lead a team of production leads, quality control inspectors, fitters, welders, machinists, and support staff Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes and meet production targets Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all employees Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development within the fabrication team Collaborate with the Shop Teams and Senior Management to improve fabrication techniques and streamline production workflows Evaluate project budgets, production costs, and provide feedback to the management team Qualifications
Proven experience in a managerial role within a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, equipment, and industry standards Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficient in project management and organizational skills Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel is required Knowledge of Tekla PowerFab Knowledge of applicable and proper use for the following: welders, gas supplied equipment, rigging, and components Possess at minimum the tools as required to measure, verify, and audit basic conformity standards The Fabrication Plant Manager must possess and maintain a current valid driver\'s license.
