The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.
Responsibilities
Conduct site visits and perform structural observations
Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
Prepare clear, concise technical reports
Draft and model structural elements in Revit
Perform structural analysis and modeling using SAP2000
Conduct structural design and calculations using Tekla Tedds
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in structures)
Completed courses in: Concrete, Steel, or Masonry Design
Additional Requirements
Full time in person position; non-remote or hybrid
Role is based in Las Vegas, NV. Will require candidate to live in, or relocate to Las Vegas.
