Purpose Provide a staff augmentation service by qualified Nuclear Lead Auditors to perform Quality Assurance (QA) audits of suppliers and project internal organizations in accordance with the SRPPF Quality Assurance Program and the requirements of ASME NQA‑1, Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications, 2019 Edition. The QA Manager Greenville (GVL) will coordinate audit assignments as needed.
Scope
Audit Planning
Prepare for the audit by reviewing auditee quality manual, previous audit reports, implementing procedures, codes/standards, Nuclear Approved Supplier List (NASL) and contract requirements.
Develop an audit checklist per the applicable audit procedure.
Conduct an audit team orientation and assign responsibilities.
Conduct a pre‑audit conference with responsible management.
Ensure all audit team members are qualified and certified.
Audit Execution
Provide direction to team members during the audit, including scope clarifications, lines of communication, policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Review quality manuals and documentation, witness work activities, inspections and testing.
Conduct interviews to confirm understanding and application of QA program requirements and gather objective evidence.
Lead entrance and exit meetings.
Reporting
Prepare the audit report, including scope, team members, summary of results, deficiencies or findings, observations, opportunities for improvement, strengths, corrective action documentation, and draft version for review.
Auditee Response Evaluation and Follow‑up
Evaluate supplier/internal organization responses, verify implementation of corrective actions, ensure timely follow‑up, and document verification of corrective action accomplishment.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years nuclear experience performing audits and at least 5 QA audits as a Lead Auditor in the last three years.
Current Lead Auditor Certification under a supplier‑approved quality program.
Knowledge of DOE O 414‑1.D, NQA‑1; helpful: ASME BPVC, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1/D1.6, ISO 9001:2015, 10 CFR 830 and 10 CFR Part 21.
US citizenship required due to government contract and clearance requirements.
Performance Expectations

Accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of deliverables.
Ability to prepare and manage audit team effectively.
Compliance with NQA‑1, Edition 2019 and project procedures.
