Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager (Strategic Vendor Governance) for a 2-3M+ contract (w/ likely extensions) that is 100% remote. The Senior Project Manager will support a newly formed IT VMO by driving project coordination, data governance, and administrative facilitation for strategic vendor programs, with a primary focus on Microsoft and secondary support to re-engage ServiceNow. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate closely with Senior VPs in technology, pivot on shifting priorities, and contribute to standardizing best practices and processes within the VMO. Coordinate and facilitate bi-weekly status updates across four service area towers / business units, consolidating data inputs, tracking progress, and maintaining consistent communication with Senior Vice Presidents within the technology organization. Collect and organize vendor performance data to support pre-defined health checks and scorecards (criteria set by VMO / service area leads), ensuring accurate, timely submissions and visibility to leadership. Maintain centralized documentation and project artifacts within MS Teams and manage follow-ups, next steps, and risk tracking to sustain structured reporting cadence. Provide administrative and organizational support to maintain alignment and accountability for Microsoft partnership initiatives and track deliverables, meeting schedules, and upcoming milestones. Facilitate ITVMO re-engagement efforts with ServiceNow post-Microsoft stabilization and assist in process definition, documentation, and operational consistency. Collaborate cross-functionally with ERP, infrastructure, and application leads to ensure cohesive communication across vendor portfolios and business units. Develop and refine ITVMO best practices, templates, and coordination processes to improve vendor governance efficiency and transparency. Serve as the primary point of coordination between ITVMO leadership and internal stakeholders and proactively anticipate next actions, summarize key items, and maintain meeting momentum. Adapt quickly to changing priorities, meeting delays, and evolving focus areas and maintain professional presence, reliability, and steady communication cadence under shifting circumstances. About the Project

The primary focus of this Senior Project Manager is in execution, facilitation, and alignment and NOT in performing vendor management (cost optimization / rate card analysis / scorecard design). The Senior Project Manager will coordinate bi-weekly status updates from four service area towers, collecting templated inputs for predefined health checks and scorecards, chasing missing deliverables, documenting next steps / risks, and providing proactive summaries to VMO leadership.
