Role Description Veterinarian (Full-Time, On-Site – San Jose, CA)
You’ll provide comprehensive small-animal care: diagnose and treat medical conditions, perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, manage preventive care and vaccinations, and create clear, client-friendly treatment plans. You’ll collaborate closely with RVTs/assistants, consult with pet owners, prescribe medications, document thoroughly, and participate in occasional community and client-education events.
Qualifications
DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school
Active (or eligible)
California
veterinary license
Proficiency in general practice: medicine, surgery, dentistry, and preventive care
Strong communicator who explains plans clearly and builds client trust
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a team-based, low-stress setting
Commitment to animal welfare and ongoing CE; openness to new techniques and tools
