Project Engineer – Airport Group
Location: Aurora, CO
Travel
Average: ~1 trip per month
Occasionally: 2–3 trips per month
Duration: 1–2 nights per trip

Responsibilities
Serve as a primary client interface, fostering strong relationships
Utilize Excel and other general computer applications effectively
Collaborate with teams from different backgrounds, including GC, subcontractor, and engineering
Manage and organize tasks efficiently, prioritizing based on customer needs
Communicate clearly and articulate thoughts effectively
Demonstrate teachability and willingness to learn unique processes
Step into a Project Manager role, showcasing leadership and initiative
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in project engineering or related fields (3+ years as Project Coordinator welcomed)
Engineering degree (any discipline except IT) or Construction Management degree
Understanding of Bluebeam software
Project management skills
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Extroverted personality with strong social skills
Critical thinking and ability to work independently
Capability to transition into a Project Manager role
Experience with airport, conveyor systems, controls, or automation projects strongly preferred
Work Environment
Laid-back, casual attire (jeans and tennis shoes), team-oriented culture
Brand-new office with top‑notch equipment and incredible views
Travel: Slightly more than once a month on average, typically 1–2 nights per trip
Bonding capacity exceeding $100MM and consistent repeat-customer base

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 – $58.00/hr.
