The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools is one of the largest in‑district public school transformation organizations in the nation, serving 13,000 students across 20 LA Unified schools in Boyle Heights, South Los Angeles, and Watts. Founded in 2007 as a nonprofit partner to the Los Angeles Unified School District, the second‑largest public school district in the country, the Partnership works within the system to drive sustainable change.

Through deep collaboration with school leaders, teachers, families, and community partners, the Partnership builds capacity, advances equity, and strengthens student outcomes. Its integrated model of professional development, coaching, advocacy, and family engagement has become a national example of how traditional public schools can transform through community‑rooted innovation. From raising graduation rates to nearly 92% to drastically reducing suspension rates, the organization’s measurable results demonstrate its effectiveness and potential to inspire broader system reform.
