Senior Project Manager- Water Conveyance/Pump Stations The importance of water to the health of our world can’t be overstated.

Who are we looking for?

The Linear Infrastructure Water Group is looking for a Senior Project Manager- Water Conveyance/Pump Stations, in one of our Northern or Southern California offices (Irvine, San Diego, Long Beach, Concord, Sacramento, Roseville, Santa Rosa). This is a project-focused role where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your technical expertise, local relationships, and knowledge on challenging projects.

Responsibilities:

Recommend changes to policies, processes, standards, and practices that would improve operational support.

Uncover emerging issues or needs, identifying potential causes, barriers, and key stakeholders.

Identify and evaluate complex, expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.

Identify shortcomings in existing business practices, then suggest and implement improvements while developing and delivering projects within the organization’s change management program.

Manage the knowledge management system with guidance from senior colleagues.

Elicit complex business requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis.

Conduct complex feasibility studies from a technological and organizational perspective and document findings to complete cost-benefit analyses.

Manage a portfolio of contracts and negotiate service-level agreements.

Develop procedures and interpret and apply policy to achieve specified outputs.

Analyze and evaluate the feasibility and relevance of proposed complex products and services, developing and amending them as necessary.

Manage a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues.

Manage important client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or similar); Master’s Degree preferred.

Registered Professional Engineer in the State of CA.

Minimum 15 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Salary Range: $163,000 - $245,000 based on experience and location.
