Maintenance Custodian Associate – Sam’s Club

Base Pay Range $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Responsibilities

Remain on your feet for an entire shift in physically demanding environments.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the company’s Environmental Sustainability Program.
Conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting procedures, hazardous‑material handling and disposal procedures, and correct or report unsafe situations to management.
Clean all areas of the facility—floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles—using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies, including rotating and storing chemicals properly and placing orders when supplies are low.
Qualification Requirements Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with custodial or maintenance work in a commercial or retail setting is a plus.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
Positive attitude and strong customer‑service orientation.
