Responsibilities

Assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing syndicated and private credit facilities for leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, dividend recapitalizations, refinancings, and various other purposes.

Lead the creation of client presentation materials and pitchbooks, including all background research, analysis, and drafting. Oversee the work of the junior bankers.

Manage the creation and own the final product for valuation analyses including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, company comparables, and LBO analysis. Prepare committee approval requests, including and IBC.

Work directly with Capital Markets and the Coverage bankers on the syndication process, including the preparation of materials for launch and supporting the response to investor questions.

Support the Senior Banker in negotiations with private equity sponsors and corporate clients on business terms and legal documentation, including grids, commitment/engagement letters, credit agreements, bond documents, and various other legal documentation.

Oversee the execution process for transactions to meet client expectations.

Analyze detailed corporate and financial information and conduct detailed due diligence.

Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements and policies.

Train associates and analysts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (required).

MBA / CFA / Masters or equivalent work experience in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

6+ Years Experience in Leveraged Finance Investment Banking (required).

Prior work experience in investment banking front office role.

Direct work experience with leveraged finance companies and an understanding of leveraged loan and HY bond products as well as the underlying transactions (LBOs, M&A, dividend recaps, refinances, etc.) that drive the business.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills including Excel modeling and valuation work.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions.

Ability to manage projects independently and assume a high level of responsibility.

Ability to interact and work with clients.

Ability to coordinate and lead multiple deal teams.

Ability to assess and mitigate reputational, operational and credit risk.

Strong organizational skills and detail orientation, as well as analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others.

Base Pay Range Minimum

$202,500.00 USD Maximum

$280,000.00 USD
