Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team. Job Summary As a CT Technologist, you will utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross‑section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. You will interpret the physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images, all while following safety procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

Maneuver equipment and patients.

Provide basic patient care.

Submit accurate and timely imaging, patient history documentation, and case charges.

Support departmental initiatives related to patient and employee satisfaction.

Perform technical procedures requiring independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

Maintain current skills and continue professional development and education.

Perform quality assurance audits and support office duties to ensure timely and complete patient records and a highly functioning department and team.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, including coursework in cross‑sectional anatomy or demonstrated skill/knowledge in cross‑sectional anatomy.

One year of work experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.

Licensure & Certification

American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) required.

Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.

State of Washington registration as a Radiologic Technologist.

CT Registration preferred.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post‑hire. This ongoing competency is required through internal resources; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable.

Pay Range $40.76 – $61.51 per hour
