Responsibilities Dreamgro is Enchante’s children’s wear and plush division — a brand known for imagination, thoughtful design, and playful quality. We bring creativity and charm to every collection, combining artistry with strong commercial sensibility. As part of a growing, close‑knit team, you’ll have the opportunity to work across categories — apparel, plush, and giftable soft goods — helping transform creative direction into real products children and families love.

This role blends

hands‑on design

department leadership . You’ll oversee the flow of projects, manage designers, and ensure smooth collaboration between design, production, packaging, and creative leadership. You’ll act as the

operational right hand

to the Creative Director — someone who can execute vision, maintain order, and keep creative momentum going strong.

Creative & Design Execution

Design silhouettes and colored CADs aligned with seasonal and brand direction.

Develop, review, and finalize tech packs for accuracy and production readiness.

Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to bring seasonal line plans to life.

Lead color palette selection, art sizing, and concept development.

Maintain a strong sense of fashion, color, and trend awareness in the children’s market.

Research market trends and competitive products to inform design direction.

Project & Department Management

Manage the overall line plan implementation and ensure milestones are met.

Assign projects to designers, review deliverables, and monitor completion timelines.

Maintain and organize digital and physical design department assets.

Oversee and contribute to tech pack creation and updates.

Manage project tracking tools (Trello, shared folders, WIPs) to ensure team visibility.

Troubleshoot creative or process challenges with realistic, proactive solutions.

Serve as the operational right hand to the Creative Director — maintaining order and momentum in the creative process.

Cross‑Functional Communication & Compliance

Act as liaison between design, packaging, and production teams.

Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to ensure information flows seamlessly.

Coordinate sending of samples, fabrics, and materials to overseas factories.

Ensure design and packaging adhere to compliance and translation protocols for international programs.

Partner with Spec Tech and Production Coordinators to align on approvals, updates, and production needs.

Uphold all retailer and regulatory compliance requirements (safety, labeling, testing, etc.).

Prepare and coordinate line and buyer presentations with the Creative Director and team.

Support presentation visuals and key meetings.

Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that values both creativity and structure.

Experience using project management tools (Trello, Asana, etc.) is a plus.

Experience with children’s wear, plush, or giftable soft goods preferred.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in children’s wear design or a closely related product category.

Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and color theory.

Prior experience managing or mentoring a design team.
