Tax Manager – Eide Bailly LLP
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Work Arrangement: In-office, or Hybrid
Typical Day in the Life
Prepare, review, and sign individual, business, and other tax returns for clients across various entities and industries.
Collaborate with the tax team to ensure all components of the tax process—tax planning, client interaction, and special projects—are completed.
Analyze tax situations from multiple angles to maximize tax benefit.
Develop solutions and communicate them to the engagement team and client.
Manage client relationships by monitoring client needs and building value into professional services.
Participate in business development activities.
Assist with client billings to ensure accuracy.
Supervise and delegate duties to Associate and Senior Associate level staff.
Provide mentoring and technical training to employees in the tax department.
Attend training seminars, professional development, and networking events.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
5–7 years of tax experience within public accounting.
Extensive knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
Active engagement in staying current with evolving tax regulations and policies.
Self‑starter who enjoys working independently and within a team environment.
Ability to focus on complex tasks and quickly understand the firm’s comprehensive compliance processes.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
