Legal Assistant
to join their
Trusts & Estates Department . This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team of attorneys, providing critical administrative and legal support in a fast-paced, professional environment. Responsibilities
Prepare, proofread, and finalize legal documents, correspondence, and estate planning materials such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
Electronically file probate and other court pleadings; assist with docketing court schedules and maintaining deadlines.
Perform document comparisons, conversions, and manipulation of PDF documents; scan and maintain electronic files.
Maintain and organize client files, including electronic pleadings and indices, as well as original documents.
Manage attorney calendars, meetings, and correspondence; schedule client appointments, depositions, and conferences.
Review and edit attorney time entries; assist with billing and client invoicing.
Provide exceptional service and communication to clients, attorneys, and staff members.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 2 years\' experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firm environment; Trusts & Estates or Litigation experience highly preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with document management systems (iManage, FileSite) preferred.
Excellent proofreading, grammar, and attention to detail.
Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
Position Benefits, Pay, and Schedule
Direct-hire opportunity with a highly competitive compensation and benefits package, including health, life, disability, 401(k), paid parental leave, and paid time off.
Full-time, onsite/hybrid position in downtown Minneapolis with a collaborative, professional work environment.
Position is 80% onsite, offering 1-day remote flexibility after 90-day probationary period is completed.
Pay ranges from
$60,000 to $90,000 annually , depending on experience and level of expertise.
Core business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
