Job Description The Leasing Consultant executes the property's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals.

Responsibilities

Perform all sales and leasing activities in person to achieve the property's revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting and qualifying prospects face-to-face, conducting property tours, processing applications and credit screening.

Design and execute off‑site marketing activities to drive traffic to the property, including resident referral and employer outreach programs and internet marketing tools.

Analyze market and economic trends, recommend improvements, and stay informed about changes in technology, industry, leasing tools, and processes.

Enforce lease processes, including apartment inspections, evictions, collections, notifications, and other actions as outlined in the lease agreement.

Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction, finalize decisions to lease and/or renew, and respond promptly to resident and client/owner concerns.

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and general appearance of the property, report mechanical and electrical malfunctions, and ensure show units meet company standards.

Resolve customer complaints and issues.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service background sufficient to manage the day‑to‑day operation of an apartment community.

Communication, presentation, and delivery skills with ability to connect to people at all levels.

Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs; strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).

Current valid driver's license.

Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm; Saturday 10am – 5pm; Sunday 1pm – 5pm.

Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled.
