Faculty Affairs Coordinator
Department Medicine | IM General Internal Medicine
Job Overview Functions as a Coordinator of Faculty Affairs by organizing and implementing administrative and operational activities for Faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine within the Department of Internal Medicine. Coordinates and supports the division’s faculty recruitment and onboarding activities. Prepares and implements a formal new hire orientation and onboarding program for new faculty; coordinates and facilitates faculty affairs for all regular track and associated track faculty. Serves as primary contact for division AP&T (Appointment, Promotion and Tenure) processes. Coordinates and oversees cyclical faculty affairs processes; reviews and monitors faculty review dates to maintain awareness of mandatory review dates as well as licensure and certifications. Assists and supports Division Leadership with administrative operations including human resources, procurement, travel arrangements and fiscal activities. Supports the division in other special projects and administrative tasks as requested.
