Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Kforce's client, an Industry Leading Real Estate and Sales Organization, is adding a Controller to their team. This position is hybrid in office/remote and located in Downtown NYC. Responsibilities

Creating and financial cadence, one which can be scaled to match transactional volume and growth

Consolidations of multiple-entities

Financial Reporting and monthly book-closes; With reduction of closings to 5 days or better

Act as Controller/CFO to portfolio companies/verticals

System updates and implementations as needed

Compliance with reporting standards, regulations, and audits

Efficiency evaluation and devising and application of improvements

Oversee operational accounting A/P, A/R, payroll

Quarterly Flash Reporting

Management reporting package creation - P&L, KPI's, Cash Flow, etc.

Acquisition Analysis & Accounting

Forecasting

Collaborate with existing team and departments, and build an efficient and strong team

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)

10+ years of experience in the above areas - including multi-entity environments, preferably in Real Estate or asset-heavy or PE-backed businesses

QuickBooks Online, Excel (advanced), consolidation modeling, process automation (Power Query)

Experienced in implementing accounting systems, ERP upgrades, or workflow automation

Strong communicator, strategic thinker, collaborative leader

Entrepreneurial, resourceful, thrives in fast-moving and high-accountability environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
