of Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford, P.A is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic litigation team. This position will provide a unique opportunity to handle complex cases in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions
Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers
Develop litigation strategies and work closely with senior attorneys and partners
Qualifications:
Exceptional legal research and writing skills (Writing sample required)
Strong and extremely meticulous organizational skills
Experience in Civil Litigation, including deposition
High academic credentials from a respected law school
Active license/ In good standing to practice law
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
Excellent communication and advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Candidates should also possess the ability to take on significant responsibility and be team-oriented
