Job Purpose We're looking for someone to help lead the strategic development and execution of brand marketing initiatives across Best Western Core Brands. Our Core brands are Best Western, Best Western Plus, and Best Western Premier. In this role, you'll focus on building and evolving brand architecture, partnering with hotel brand managers, operations, and digital teams to deliver integrated, guest‑centric marketing strategies that elevate brand equity and drive business growth.
Essential Job Results
Take the lead in developing and refining brand architecture across Best Western Core Brands, ensuring consistency, clarity, and differentiation.
Translate brand positioning into actionable marketing strategies and guest‑facing experiences.
Champion the brand across all touchpoints, ensuring alignment with brand standards and guest expectations.
Partner with hotel brand managers to align on brand goals, guest insights, and property‑level activations.
Work hand‑in‑hand with operations teams to integrate brand standards into service delivery and guest experience.
Collaborate with digital marketing specialists to develop content strategies, CRM initiatives, and optimize owned channels.
Help guide paid media strategy in partnership with internal teams and external agencies, ensuring campaigns are brand‑aligned and performance‑driven.
Analyze campaign performance and guest engagement metrics to inform future strategies and improve ROI.
Support seasonal and evergreen campaign development, from briefing through execution and post‑campaign analysis.
Collaborate with regional marketing teams to tailor brand strategies to local market dynamics, including seasonal trends and community engagement.
Integrate personalization strategies into guest experience touchpoints, leveraging CRM data and loyalty program insights.
Partner with loyalty program team to drive member engagement and brand affinity.
Contribute to revenue growth and booking performance through targeted brand campaigns and performance tracking.
Utilize CRM platforms and Adobe tools, such as Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics, to manage and optimize marketing efforts.
Leverage AI tools to create operational efficiencies via processes, content development, and campaign optimizations.
Share ideas and insights with senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Help improve marketing processes, tools, and reporting systems.
Have the opportunity to mentor junior team members.
Experience We’re looking for someone with around 8 years of experience in brand marketing, preferably within the hospitality, travel, or lifestyle sectors.
Education A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Knowledge
Solid understanding of brand strategy, digital marketing, and paid media.
Financial and budgeting acumen.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with CRM platforms and Adobe tools, such as Experience Manager and Analytics.
Comfortable managing complex projects and cross‑functional relationships.
Great communication and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of hospitality industry dynamics and guest behavior.
Other Requirements
Hybrid position requiring an onsite presence approximately three (3) days per week at our Headquarters location (6201 N 24th Parkway, Phoenix, AZ, 85016).
Open to traveling up to 25% of work time.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
