The Market Research Analyst will play a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to guide product development, brand strategy, and go-to-market decisions. The ideal candidate has experience using AI-enabled market research tools, Qualtrics or similar survey platforms, and is highly skilled at translating insights into actionable recommendations through clear, well-structured reports. Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret large datasets, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Design, program, and manage surveys using Qualtrics or other survey platforms.
Leverage AI-based market research and analytics tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and depth of insights.
Conduct primary and secondary research for market sizing, evaluating customer needs, competitor positioning, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Synthesize complex findings into concise reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders and executives.
Collaborate with product development, product marketing, and sales teams to align research insights with strategic initiatives.
Support advanced research methodologies such as conjoint analysis, segmentation, win/loss analysis, and usability testing.
Maintain a pulse on market shifts, market size, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies relevant to FTI’s business lines.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
3–5 years of market research experience in a corporate, consulting, or agency environment.
Proficiency with Qualtrics (or other leading survey software such as SurveyMonkey, Alchemer, etc.).
Familiarity with AI-driven research tools (e.g., text analytics, predictive modeling, data visualization).
Experience with energy, technology, or industrial sectors preferred.
Knowledge of AI-based market research tools for data exploration, synthesis and reporting a plus.
Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, or similar) preferred.
Familiarity with market sizing to determine market share: Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM), and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) a plus.
Familiarity with advanced quantitative methods (choice-based conjoint, segmentation, regression, forecasting) preferred.
Experience working in cross‑functional teams with product managers, engineers, or marketers a plus.
