Lead Person Essential Job Functions:
Lead and coordinate critical areas of pipe finishing, outlets/specials and loading.
Coordinate and assure proper material deliveries
Ensure safety, quality, and production objectives are met by being a presence on the floor with practical relevant experience to reinforce best practices.
Develop action plans in order to meet deadlines and responsibilities.
Monitor personnel for adherence to company policies and productivity
Read blueprints and specifications and be technically proficient
Produce a quality product (including quality evaluations) that meets the customers’ expectations while ensuring that drawings and job specifications are followed
Communications and Training
Performs requirements to satisfy company procedures including administrative requirements
Maintain order
Strives for zero defects and incidents
Evaluate personnel
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
2 years of Leading experience leading a team in the manufacturing or production support process.
Physical Demands:
Requires the ability to communicate effectively.
Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching; the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds.
Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to changes in temperature, exposure to dust and fumes.
Use of ear plugs and other PPE – such as hard hat, steel‑toes boots, gloves and safety glasses as required.
