$ 20-$30 per hour depending on previous experience and qualifications
Role Summary Brondes Ford Maumee is looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service department. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently, and a commitment to delivering quality work every time. This position offers excellent growth opportunities and long-term stability in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Perform work specified on repair orders with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including brakes, steering, suspension, engine, transmission, and electrical
Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings to the Service Advisor
Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality workmanship
Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines
Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor and team regarding repair status and recommendations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Stay current on training and certification requirements through Ford and ASE programs
Qualifications
2+ years of automotive service experience preferred
Ford or ASE certifications a plus
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
Positive attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Basic computer literacy for diagnostic and repair documentation
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
