Role Snapshot: Health & Safety Specialist I
Key Responsibilities
Track HS&E KPIs and drive performance improvements through analysis and action plans.
Support creation and upkeep of policies and compliance programs aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and on time.
Provide technical guidance on safe systems of work; oversee routine EHS tasks; contribute to team development.
Participate in audits and inspections; help implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate cross-functional safety and energy initiatives that align with business objectives.
Deliver internal and external communications consistent with ISO management system requirements.
Required Qualifications
Short-cycle tertiary education or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years in EHS or related discipline.
Strong skills in compliance management, risk assessment, and data analysis.
Self-starter who can operate independently and provide technical guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 50001 programs.
Excellent communicator with proven cross‑functional influence.
Exposure to internal and external audit practices.
Ability to lead or support safety initiatives across departments.
