Willing to work variable shifts, including weekend overtime rotations and occasional shift overtime. Position Responsibilities
Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment. Performs tests or inspections and collects data. Documents, analyzes, and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations. Utilizes technical competencies to provide feedback on adverse trends. Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products. Conducts on-the-job training (OJT). Adheres to Boeing policies, processes, and major inspection methods procedures. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Current or prior NAS410 or equivalent certified Level 2 in Ultrasonic Testing; must have documented evidence available for client Level 3 review. Current or prior NAS410 or equivalent certified Level 2 in Eddy Current Testing; must have documented evidence available for client Level 3 review. *Must submit documented evidence of certification at time of application submission.* Willing to work variable shifts, including weekend overtime rotations and occasional shift overtime. Capable of working in confined spaces. 3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test). 3+ years of experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Current or prior NAS410 or equivalent certified Level 2 in Penetrant and/or Magnetic Particle and/or Radiography Testing; must have documented evidence available for Level 3 review. Able to work from heights up to 55 feet. Experience analyzing and interpreting Ultrasonic C-scans. Digital radiography, liquid penetrant, and magnetic particle experience. Able to fit through a 10'' X 18'' oval opening. Experience in inspecting composite material. 3+ years of experience writing NDT procedures and techniques. Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies.
