Reporting to the Board and CEO, the CFO will be the
first Boyne‑backed finance hire and a key strategic partner , responsible for building out the accounting and finance organization and aligning financial infrastructure with long‑term growth objectives. This hands‑on role offers the chance to implement robust management reporting, define KPIs including margin‑level detail by SKU, and oversee all aspects of monthly close, cash flow forecasting, and lender reporting. The CFO will also help shape the broader management team, participate in strategic initiatives, and work directly with Boyne to drive value creation and growth.
Responsibilities
Act as a key liaison to the private equity sponsor
Establish and lead the finance and accounting function to support strategic growth objectives
Design and implement KPIs and comprehensive management reporting, including margin‑level detail by SKU
Oversee monthly close, weekly cash flow forecasting, and lender reporting
Evaluate and manage ERP systems and enhancements as needed
Partner with the CEO to build and scale the broader management team
Support strategic initiatives, including operational improvements and potential add‑on acquisitions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or Master’s in Accounting valued
5+ years in audit at a national public accounting firm
8+ years serving in Controller, VP Finance, or CFO roles at a mid‑sized company
Proven experience in PE‑sponsored companies is highly valued
CPG industry experience is preferred
ERP implementation experience is preferred
Strong FP&A, analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Willing and able to be on‑site in Miami, FL
