Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst specialized in Power BI dashboard development and reporting to support our portfolio companies and holding organization. This role will focus on creating actionable, real-time dashboards and reports to drive strategic decision‑making across finance and operational functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in KPI development, report automation, and a keen understanding of financial and operational data, with potential to expand into ERP, Enterprise Applications and other business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑impact Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for portfolio companies and the holding company, focusing on KPIs related to finance and operations.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and executive teams to understand critical metrics and translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
- Develop KPI frameworks and data visualizations that enable stakeholders to monitor performance, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives.
- Build and optimise reporting solutions leveraging data from ERP, Enterprise Applications, and other integrated systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all reports.
- Automate report generation and distribution processes to facilitate timely and efficient decision‑making.
- Assist in data validation, quality assurance, and governance practices to ensure reliable reporting data.
- Stay current with Power BI best practices, trends, and new features, incorporating innovations into existing reporting solutions.
- Provide training and documentation to end‑users to maximise self‑service reporting and analytical capabilities.
- Contribute to cross‑disciplinary projects that enhance data accessibility and reporting integration across platforms.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and delivering Power BI dashboards and reports in a professional setting, ideally supporting finance and operational functions.
- Strong understanding of KPI development, financial metrics, and operational data analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP, Enterprise Applications, and related business systems and their data structures.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and data visualisation best practices.
- Experience integrating multiple data sources and ensuring data quality and governance.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business language for diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment supporting portfolio companies or multi‑entity organisations is a plus.
