Position Summary
We are seeking to bring on a Warehouse Manager to lead all day‑to‑day functions of Factory6’s warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
The role will report to the Director of Operations, and closely partners with the Production Manager, Production Supervisors, and Warehouse Personnel to align and coordinate warehouse activities with daily production needs and company objectives.
The Warehouse Manager will provide strategic and hands‑on engaging leadership, focusing on developing systems and empowering warehouse personnel to operate with autonomy, accountability, and pride in performance. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive, and people‑oriented leader who excels at creating structure and driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily and weekly warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement.
- Develop and implement efficient systems, processes, and SOPs that improve accuracy, throughput, and accountability.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the Warehouse Supervisor and warehouse staff, fostering an environment of ownership and proactive problem‑solving.
- Balance strategic oversight with hands‑on support; ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and meet production, quality, and safety standards.
- Maintain alignment and communication with Production and Operations leadership to coordinate materials flow and scheduling.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and lead improvement initiatives that enhance space utilization, material accuracy, and team productivity.
- Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation, including BOLs and packing slips, are completed accurately and in compliance with company procedures.
- Oversee and improve cycle count accuracy and inventory reconciliation.
- Uphold cGMP, FDA, and internal compliance standards throughout all warehouse activities.
- Champion safety, cleanliness, and organization in all warehouse spaces.
Qualifications
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or materials management within nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated success leading teams toward greater autonomy, accountability, and efficiency.
- Proven ability to develop and implement warehouse systems or process improvements.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, and general warehousing safety and sanitation standards.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and inventory control software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Hands‑on approach with a focus on coaching and enabling others.
- Experience with nutraceutical or food‑grade warehousing operations.
- Analytical and data‑driven mindset; comfortable using KPIs and metrics to drive decisions.
- Familiarity with HRIS or production‑tracking systems (e.g., Rippling, Paylocity, Monday.com, Data Ninja).
