Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr
One of the Bay Area’s most awarded electrical construction companies is hiring an HR Manager to take ownership of the people function across their organization. This role is equal parts strategic and hands‑on. You will be leading employee engagement, compliance, and benefits administration while strengthening the culture that has made this company a great place to work. The ideal candidate is a confident, proactive HR professional who thrives in a high‑performance, transparent, and fast‑moving environment. You’ll partner directly with leadership to elevate employee experience, drive alignment, and keep their culture sharp as the company continues to grow.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $165,000 / Year DOE
HR Manager Responsibilities
- Conduct bi-annual and annual employee check-ins and performance evaluations
- Maintain and update employee handbooks and HR policies
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Administer benefits and manage related documentation
- Support managers with employee relations, coaching, and organizational structure
- Partner with legal counsel on employment matters and act as liaison between executives and outside attorneys
- Generate reports and maintain employee data accuracy
- Advise on compliance, investigations, and best practices in alignment with company values
- Collaborate with leadership to strengthen training and development programs
- Foster connection, communication, and accountability across office and field teams
HR Manager Requirements
- 5 - 10+ years of progressive HR experience
- Proven success supporting large employee organizations
- Expertise in employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to earn trust at all levels
- Comfortable working in a construction or similarly fast‑paced, blue‑collar environment
- Highly organized, resourceful, and proactive problem solver
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- SHRM certification a plus
