Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery (Hepatobiliary/Transplant Surgery Division) The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is the largest private employer in Los Angeles. Opportunity Details

Qualified candidate should possess clinical expertise in abdominal organ transplantation, particularly in kidney and pancreas transplant and laparoscopic donor nephrectomies. Experience in split liver donor procurements is highly desired.

Selected candidate will provide clinical expertise in patient care management, teach fellows, collaborate in research, and continue education.

Position is primarily based at Keck Hospital of USC and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA); may include supporting services at satellite locations, including coverage of Hepatobiliary Surgery at LA County Hospital (LAC+USC).

Applicants must have MD or DO, completed an ASTS‑accredited multi‑organ abdominal transplantation fellowship, be certified by the American Board of Surgery, be eligible to work in the United States, and be eligible for California licensure (current licensure preferred).
