Manager - Interview Strategy & Logistics

Capital One's interview Strategy & Logistics (ISL) team is a critical service provider for Talent Acquisition (TA) and their goal of attracting top talent to change banking for good. ISL focuses on delivering a great candidate experience, providing trusted interview reads for hiring managers, and engaging our interviewers. We're looking for a dynamic and strategic team leader to continue building on momentum to implement high-impact changes in TA.

As an ISL Manager, you will lead and develop a team that delivers logistical requirements for candidate interviews, including facilitation and scheduling across the enterprise. You'll leverage data and insights to drive the strategy for interviewer supply and demand planning and quarterly interview scheduling, and will monitor progress, emerging needs, and risks. This role is key to ensuring operational excellence and achieving business goals, while providing best-in-class customer experiences to our recruiting partners, business partners, and candidates.

General Responsibilities:

Influencing across multiple cross‑functional teams, client organizations while collaborating on solutions that achieve shared results

Create, monitor and analyze data that drive improvements, and enhance value

Serve as an Interview Strategy and Logistics Subject Matter Expert for internal and external teams and stakeholders

Communicate effectively with diverse groups and collaborate/influence partners at various levels

Deliver people‑focused initiatives and strategies that maintain high levels of team and individual morale through change and development

Drive individual, team and department efficiency and productivity through effective operational, people, and performance management practices

Coach team in the resolution of problems, develop training and utilize external networks and resources appropriately to grow talent and skills

Deliver staffing and budget management practices that ensure consistent capacity alignment and service level delivery

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

At least 3 years of People Management experience

At least 3 years of Human Resources or Business experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

5+ years of People Management experience

1+ year of experience in Process Management

1+ year of work experience in interview scheduling management or interviewer supply management

1+ year of data analysis experience conducting analyses to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy

The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $126,700 - $144,600 for HR Specialist Richmond, VA: $115,200 - $131,500 for HR Specialist

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non‑discretionary depending on the plan.
