Position Description:
Ride and Handling Requirements: The primary responsibility of this role is to develop ride and handling performance of vehicle frame, body, and chassis.
Responsibilities
Development of ride and handling performance of vehicle frame, body, and chassis (suspension, bushing) through prediction, evaluation, and analysis.
Use CAE FEA, MBD, or other simulation methods to solve problems.
Collect vehicle and bench test measurements while collaborating with technician team members.
Analyze data, organize and visualise to support vehicle dynamics development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
2 years’ experience working as an engineer (inc. industry co‑op/internship, SAE project TL).
Completed academic coursework in mechanics engineering (structures, vibrations or automotive dynamics).
General Requirements
Experience with engineering experimentation (planning, measurements, statistical analysis, reporting)
Experience with commercial FEA pre-processors, solvers, and post-processors
Preferred
Experience contributing to a project as a member of a diverse team
