We are Optimum, a leader in connectivity solutions, seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure plant performance meets Platform of Choice specifications and to uphold reliability and safety standards. This role requires a collaborative, team‑oriented professional passionate about excellence and safety.
Base Pay Range $77,112.00/yr – $126,684.00/yr
Job Summary The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure plant performance is maintained in concert with specifications, maintain acceptable plant reliability for customer satisfaction, and train staff to support specifications and customer experience.
Responsibilities
Possess knowledge of key business drivers, financial and operational metrics, and make decisions aligned with organizational goals.
Motivate and engage team, providing clear direction and accountability; translate organizational goals into team and individual goals.
Monitor team progress using departmental and individual metrics; drive accountability for actions and customer focus.
Deliver coaching, development plans and training to reinforce behaviors; mentor employees and correct performance deficiencies.
Shape roles and assignments to build capabilities and leverage talent; define clear business and behavior goals.
Hold team and peers accountable for adherence to values, policies and standards.
Demonstrate a relentless focus on safety; role‑model safe work practices and champion proactive safety agenda.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree preferred; minimum of six years related technical experience.
Certified in job competencies BBT IV or equivalent; able to perform and explain all related tasks.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Extensive knowledge of PC software, DOS, Windows, Network, and Internet communications.
Knowledge of local number portability, Optimum telephone transport system and network operation interfaces.
Experience with HFC network systems, including troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and evenings.
Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain DOT medical card and CDL where applicable.
