Responsibilities
Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to clients and/or families (if working with children) in home, community, and/or school settings.
Assist clients in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet those goals.
Design and implement treatment/intervention plan in‑home reflective of client needs.
Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff member and obtain continuing education units.
Requirements
Qualified in at least one of the following ways:
Meet the Mental Health Practitioner requirements as per MN State Statute 245I.04.04:
Hold a Master’s degree or other graduate degree in a behavioral science or related field; or
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related field AND 2,000 hours of supervised experience delivering mental health services to people with mental illness.
Have 4,000 hours of supervised experience delivering mental health services to people with mental illness.
Meet the Clinical Trainee requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.06.
Meet the Mental Health Professional requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.02:
Licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP in Minnesota.
Additionally, must meet the following requirements:
Desire to work with children and families in their homes, including ability to walk, use stairs, crouch, stoop, sit on floors, and stand for periods of time.
Ability to work independently; valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable vehicle; ability to drive at least within a 30‑mile radius around primary clinic location.
Proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Ability to commit to late afternoon/early evening schedule for children/adolescents and family services (if applicable).
Compensation: $22.00‑$23.00 per hour.
