Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health – Fort Worth, TX
Pay Range: $52,200 - $156,000 + $2,500 Sign On Bonus
We offer part‑time and full‑time positions for certified Speech‑Language Pathologists who are dedicated to helping pediatric patients with a range of cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing and/or social/emotional disabilities.
Job Description A certified SLP will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients by planning and administering speech therapy services in the home and community.
Requirements
ASHA certification
Texas State SLP License
Current CPR certification
A minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
Responsibilities
Provide high quality care and meet the needs of the patient and family by performing evaluations, interpreting assessment results; developing goals appropriate to the child; creating and implementing speech therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the physician.
Assist pediatric patients to develop or regain cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing and/or social/emotional functioning and improve their level of independence by implementing skilled interventions to maximize the potential of each individual child.
Participate in educating, coaching, and empowering caregivers and families to carry over therapeutic activities into the child's daily routine.
Coordinate with referral partners to provide services for children in accordance with the physician order.
Ensure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing and instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs.
Document patient care services and care coordination in an intuitive electronic medical record system.
Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential.
