Responsibilities
Perform measurements and takeoffs on piping systems
Fit up for welders on various welding processes
Fabricate and assemble metal structures, steel pipes and components per specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other shop tools as needed
Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient with various pipefitting techniques
Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment
Welding certification(s) a plus but not required
Valid Driver’s License
All successful candidates must have a valid driver's license and complete a criminal background check.
