Senior Engineer – Vehicle Dynamics Simulation
Will lead the development of ride, handling, steering, and braking attributes from concept to production. The role involves creating, maintaining, and applying vehicle and system-level models to optimize dynamic performance and ensure a world‑class driving experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and utilize vehicle and subsystem simulation models to support vehicle design and development.
Analyze simulation results to provide objective data and guidance for tuning and improving vehicle dynamics and durability.
Correlate simulation models with real‑world test data to validate model accuracy.
Conduct subjective evaluation of vehicle dynamics performance using a driving simulator.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with development engineers, software engineers, and system owners throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
5+ years
of automotive industry experience with a solid understanding of
vehicle dynamics principles .
3+ years
of proven experience in
ADAMS, CarRealTime, Carmaker, CarSim , or similar multibody simulation tools.
Strong understanding of
Matlab/Simulink fundamentals .
Familiarity with
Python
and
C++
for simulation scripting and automation.
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years
of relevant automotive engineering experience.
Working knowledge of additional tools such as
Dymola ,
Matlab ,
Python , etc.
Understanding of
vehicle assembly plant processes
and manufacturing practices.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Creative and proactive mindset with the ability to lead design development and execution.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline ( BS/BEng or MS/MEng ).
Must haves
5 or more years of Automotive experience with a solid understanding of vehicle dynamics principles
Minimum 3 years' Proven experience in ADAMS, CarRealTime, CarMak
