Overview The Group Account Supervisor is the brand champion. They will provide strategic input, tactical planning, and direction on multiple or large-scale assigned accounts. The Group Account Supervisor has direct management responsibilities: supervises junior account staff to implement plans in a timely, effective, and profitable manner. They build and maintain positive, lasting client relationships with multiple or mid-level clients, as well as ensuring high‑quality agency output.
Responsibilities
Helps guide process, details, and helps develop tactical plans.
Helps to develop and administer clients’ budgets based on accurate estimating and tracking of hours, out‑of‑pocket expenses, and reconciliation against estimates. Raises client awareness as to when changes in client direction affect estimates.
Sound decision making regarding hours dedicated to jobs, what to prioritize. Good understanding of all basic financial tools necessary to account management.
Ability to identify client issues, and work with Account Lead to moderate conflicts and influence management decisions.
Understands therapeutic category, the audience and at least two channels.
Demonstrates and applies knowledge of assigned brands.
Ensures team adherence to agency process.
Works with client team lead to help develop communication objectives & strategies (e.g. marketing/ brand platform briefs).
Collaborates on creative brief development.
Works with team members in developing the writing and preparation of marketing communications plans and proposals.
Communicates key client issues/initiatives to team accurately and in timely manner.
Builds trusting relationships with client counterparts.
Supports the client team lead to ensure everyone is focused on brand strategy and positioning: client, account team, and other internal departments.
Understands, communicates and advocates the agency POV.
Ensures client is kept apprised of all account activity: this includes ultimate responsibility for ensuring that appropriate written reports are delivered accurately and quickly.
Supports in ensuring timely, accurate client documentation & correspondence
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
You have 5+ years of experience in healthcare communications or pharmaceutical advertising—you understand the nuances of this space and how to make work that truly connects.
You’ve begun flexing your leadership muscles, ideally with 1–2 years of experience managing a direct report, and you’re ready to keep growing.
You’re a natural collaborator who thrives in cross‑functional teams—creative, strategy, and project management are your daily partners.
You think strategically and act with purpose, connecting business goals to smart, impactful work.

Compensation Range: $95,950-$143,290 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
